Profile

Our department conducts theory & practicals for I Year B.E / B.Tech students.

Academics

The curriculum in chemistry has been designed in such a way that it is useful for I Year B.E. / B.Tech students. The chemistry subjects that are necessary for engineering technology students are included.

Facilities

Lab Facilities

The practicals that are important for Engineering and Technology are included. For example, the practicals like estimation of hardness, conductometric titrations, corrosion experiments, viscosity of polymers, degree of polymerization and estimation of alloys are included.

Our department have also planned to do research. We have proposed to send research projects to various funding agencies

Examination Cell

Examination cell is attached with the chemistry department. In exam cell, we coordinate to conduct the cycle test

Functions

1) To assist in conducting cycle test/class test and prepare cyclostyled copies of question paper and supply answer sheets in case of cycle test.

2) To collect question paper manuscripts by sending circulars in case of cycle tests.

3) To collect mark statement from individual faculty by sending circular.4) Prepare consolidated statements for cycle tests/continuous assessment test.
