The Industrial visit

The third year students went for an industrial visit to Shasun Chemicals, Pondicherry , a Pharmaceutical company manufacturing Ibuprofen. The students were accompanied and guided by the HOD, the dean and the staff members. On reaching the factory premises, the students were told about the safety measures and precautions that are observed inside the factory. The whole factory was divided into different sections-the reactors, the production unit, quality control unit, packaging and the main computer consol. The employee guiding each group explained the aspects of each section visited by them.
